Listen up! There’s a lot happening at WGC.

There are a lot of things happening at the WGC so I wanted everyone to have a chance to be on the same page.

• The WV State Shoot has been cancelled this year.
• The VA State Shoot has be rescheduled to September 17-20. Program will be out soon.
• The WGC Summer league is moving along nicely with a great turnout. Practice traps are always open to the public on Tuesdays.
• The new 5 Stand open on Saturdays is seeing good numbers for shooters and beginning to get it’s own following of regulars. Practice traps are open to the public on Saturdays as well.
• The June 20 Saturday Fathers Day shoot at WGC is still a go (so far), however we need everyone’s assistance in keeping up with and adhering to the latest COVID-19 guidelines (more to come before the shoot). We are also hoping to keep the 5 Stand open that day.
• HELP! We’ve implemented a new mechanism, that any parent of Jr. shooters can work for the day and their kid shoots for free minus ATA/VTA fees. The parent must work all day and be willing to score or fill traps. Depending on the size of the shoot we would use 6-9 people. It’s on a first come first serve basis, let us know at the counter beside the registration office the morning of the shoot. This is only in affect for WGC monthly shoots! Also looking for help with registering shooters, if your willing to learn the shoot software and help in the office we may be able to work something out there as well.
• With the VA shoot being postponed would you still be interested in a 1 or 2 day shoot July 4-5? Maybe on Saturday 100 Singles-100 Handicap (5 Stand would be open as well), Sunday 100 Singles, 100 Handicap, 50 pair doubles? Some other event line up? Camping would be available.
